Prayers please
Yesterday morning I was holding Parker and walking in the grass at the park. I rolled my ankle in a a
hole and fell. Parker hit his head on the cement divider resulting in multiple skull fractures and brain bleeds. He is currently in the best childrens hospital around in the ICU. All thinks considered he is responding well, but not completely out of the woods and it looks like we will be here for a few days until they feel is out of the woods. They are watching to make sure he has no nurological damage/changes or seizures or worstened bleeding.
I think this has been the scariest day of my life. I can't get the image of his little head laying on the cement nor forget the sickening feeling I felt. The dr's keep telling me he will be ok. I believe them, but still so scared. My boy is so little and in pain. His little body has so many tubes and monitors hooked up to him.
Right now it is 4 am and I can't sleep. I am n the sofa on the room and
Mike is on the floor. The nurologist will be by in the am to check on him and hopefully do another CT to see if the bleeding has stayed the same.
Thank you for listening. Please keep little Parker in your prayers and thoughts. It can only help.
Sorry if there are typos.... Posting from my iPhone.
