Skater Girl
We all knew it was bound to happen at some point, right? Alan has been taking Maddie out on the skateboard and she LOVES it! She loves to chase after him while he's on the skateboard and loves to ride it with him but she's too scared to just stand on it alone.
A few weeks ago we had my family over for a bbq to celebrate my mom's birthday. We took a bunch of pictures that night but here's one of my favorites of my mom and stepdad.
I have a few other cute pictures of my sisters that I'll post at a later date.
As you can tell from our archives we've all been pretty busy and have neglected posting lately. Work has been crazy and it seems like we've had plans every single weekend and it only stands to get busier going into summertime. My big project has been trying to decide what we're going to do for Maddie's 2nd birthday. As much as I loathe any type of "character" I think we've decided to throw her a Mickey and Minnie party. The girl just goes cuckoo over anything Mickey and Minnie these days so I know she'll think it's just the coolest thing ever. Me? Not so much, but hey, it's totally not my birthday! I just want her to have fun.
you guys take the best pigs. Laddie looks so big and of course Alan got her on a board. Love it!!!

Yeah, I need to start thinking about birthday party plans too. Emma loves Barney and Elmo, so.. probably one of those. Sigh.
